Cheyenne Sokkappa is a Technical Product Marketing Manager at Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) and its product brand GAPVelocity AI, where she translates complex application modernization and AI migration technology into clear, actionable content for enterprise developers and IT decision-makers. Her work spans product launches, technical blog content, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategy for GAPVelocity AI’s suite of Agentic AI migration tools. Cheyenne brings a distinctive blend of product management and technical marketing expertise honed across the aerospace, AI/ML, and enterprise software industries. Before joining GAP, she served as Product Manager for AI & ML at Extend, where she led the product roadmap for AI/ML solutions and data platform transformation initiatives. Prior to that, she held a Principal Specialist role at Collins Aerospace, driving product strategy and digital services innovation within the Raytheon Technologies portfolio. She began her career as a Digital Technology Leadership Associate at Raytheon, completing rotations across commercial aviation and defense technology divisions. At GAPVelocity AI, Cheyenne writes extensively about legacy-to-modern application migration, covering topics such as VB6-to-.NET conversion, PowerBuilder-to-Java modernization, Blazor development best practices, and Azure cloud hosting strategies. Her content is informed by hands-on collaboration with GAP’s engineering teams and a deep understanding of the enterprise buyer’s journey, making her articles uniquely useful for both technical practitioners and the business stakeholders who fund modernization initiatives. Cheyenne holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington. She is passionate about building inclusive tech communities and has volunteered with Girls Who Code and the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship, mentoring underrepresented students pursuing STEM careers.
